Comino Caves is one of my favourites scuba diving site.Nowhere in Malta can be paralleled in terms of fish life particularly two banded bream(kahli)photo 2.Many divers swim for ages amongst these sholas of fish and actually do the fish feeding. It is amazing to feel the fish so close and biting bread from your finger tips.

This dive is located on the island of comino which lies between Gozo and Malta. This dive must be done by boat. The boat normally anchor infromt of the caves where the shoal of sea bream is present. After spending some time with the sea bream we go to the first cave.In the cave there are two openins to the opne sea,a small one to the right facing the caves and a bigger tunnel to its left. The tunnel is about 25 metres long and at 12metres depth. The view from the cave to the open water is amazing. After going tyo the back of the cave there are a number of tunnels and a rock which can be dived around. After going round the cliffs one comes again at the front of comino caves where there are others cave which lead to one another. They are all very interesting to explore. However care must be taken not to surface as many tourist boats go round this are in peak summer.

There is also an intersting arch with many golden cup coral.Due to its shallow depth this can be one of the longest dives you will do in the maltese islands.Maximum depth is 15-18 metres
